The technology automatically adjusts to the sounds around you and removes them. This is on top of the passive sound isolation you'll enjoy from the Live Free 2's pill-shaped earphones that provide a snug fit in your ears. Even your conversations are kept crisp and clear thanks to six built-in beamforming microphones. All of this silence can be savored throughout your day with a sweat and rainproof design, and up to 35 hours of battery life with the included wireless charging case.
Smart Ambient
While it's great to have a truly immersive experience with your audio out in public, sometimes you need to hear the world around you. Activate the Smart Ambient feature to let the sounds back in to have a quick chat or listen to an important announcement, all without having to remove your earphones.
6 Mics for 0 Noise
A total of six beamforming microphones work to focus on your voice while also taking in wind and ambient sounds and neutralizing them, so whomever you're talking to only hears your voice, even if you're in a noisy environment.
VoiceAware
Hearing your own voice as you speak is a natural experience we can lose with earphones securely inside our ears. The VoiceAware feature lets you address that by adjusting just how much of your own voice you will hear routed back to you from the Live Free 2's microphone. This can help provide a familiar and comforting experience when having conversations, and help prevent the feeling of having to raise your voice to be heard.
All-Day Battery Life
On a full charge, the Live Free 2 earphones provide up to 7 hours of playback, with an extra 28 hours of power available within the included charging case. Simply slip the earphones inside and close the lid to begin recharging them. To recharge the case itself, you can use either the included USB Type-C charging cable or an (optional) Qi-compatible wireless charging pad.
Speed Charge
It's never a good feeling to sprint out the door and realize you forgot to charge your wireless headphones. With Speed Charge, you can breathe easy as a quick 15 minutes inside the charging case gives you up to 4 hours of playback time.
Dual Connect & Sync
Using multipoint technology, you can pair the Live Free 2 earphones to two different Bluetooth devices at once, and then seamlessly switch between them as needed. So if you're streaming a show on a tablet, you can switch to your phone to take an incoming call, and then go back to the show when you hang up.
Touch & Voice Control
Manage playback via integrated touch controls or use your voice. When paired with Android phones, you can say "Hey Google" or "Alexa". Note that Amazon Alexa support requires Android 6.0 or later.
JBL Headphones App
This app lets you select listening modes, adjust ANC and Smart Ambient levels, customize controls, and more. It also allows you to adjust audio quality via an EQ. Voice prompts in the language of your choice navigates you through the app's features.
